Frequently asked questions

How do Maven’s services differ based on local family-building regulations?

See answer

Different countries have different regulations when it comes to fertility treatments, adoption and surrogacy. Maven can help you understand and navigate these complexities. Maven will not encourage you to pursue any particular pathway, provide guidance to in-person care where that care is prohibited under that country’s legal system, or directly provide legal advice of any kind. Our team is here to help you understand your options and give you the information to make informed choices. All members, regardless of where they are based, have access to the education content, virtual providers, and other features through Maven.

Maven provides additional support to your existing medical care as our providers include a range of specialists you might not have access to—including fertility awareness educators, wellness coaches and adoption coaches. Your Care Advocate can also help navigate your existing fertility benefits and assist with finding in-person providers. You should continue to see your in-person provider as needed.

Is my personal health data secure?

See answer

Maven implements industry-leading encryption and data security practices to secure your personal health data. Additionally, Maven does not record video sessions, so any information you share with a Maven practitioner during your appointment will stay between you and that practitioner, unless you provide consent for them to share with another provider.

How can Maven support partners throughout the parenthood journey?
