How will I know if Maven is for me?
Maven is perfect for people who are navigating pregnancy, newborn care, adoption, and surrogacy, as well as symptoms related to menopause, perimenopause, post menopause, or midlife health. Partners can also access Maven at no cost to learn ways to support their loved ones throughout their journey or to receive 24/7 support for their own health needs.
How much does Maven cost, and how does it work with my health insurance?
You don’t need to worry about insurance coverage or out-of-pocket costs for Maven. AbbVie fully covers your enrollment in Maven, so you and your partner can use it for free. Maven will administer the fertility benefit for all AbbVie employees enrolled in a national health plan (BCBS and UHC). Your cost share for fertility related claims will be based on your health plan design. Also starting January 1st, 2026, Maven will administer the family building (adoption, surrogacy, and donor tissue reimbursement) for all U.S. AbbVie employees.
How do I sign up for Maven Wallet?
After activating your free membership, members eligible for Maven Wallet will be able to access Maven Wallet within the Maven platform. In the Maven app, click the "Me" tab and select "My Maven Wallet". Here you can read more about eligible expenses, the reimbursement process, and FAQs. To start using Maven Wallet, click on the “Apply for Maven Wallet” button to submit your application. It takes up to 1 business day to be approved, and once you are, you’re ready to start using Maven Wallet.
Do Maven specialists speak languages other than English?
You can speak to specialists in over 35 different languages, including Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, French, German, Hebrew and many others. In addition, you'll find simultaneous translation similar to what you might experience in a hospital or clinic if you don't speak the same language as the Specialist. Your Care Advocate can help you navigate to the best specialists to fit your needs.
