Maven gives virtual* support to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and Blue Plus (Blue Plus) members and their families or partner at no cost to you. With Maven, you get access to 24/7 video appointments, classes, and health-related content for pregnancy and after your baby is born.
*This digital program requires a valid e-mail address and internet access to utilize the program. If you do not have a valid e-mail address or internet access, Blue Plus alternatively can connect you with a case manager that can provide educational information and support for maternity management. Call the Member Services number on the back of your Blue Plus member ID card for more information.

What if I already have an in-person OB-GYN or pediatrician?
You should continue to see your chosen providers but you can also video chat with Maven specialists for guidance and second opinions. Maven specialists include a range of specialists that you might not have access to—from midwives and doulas to diabetes coaches and career coaches. Your Maven Care Advocate can also help you find in-person providers within your health plan if you’d like.
Do Maven’s specialists speak languages other than English?
Specialists on Maven speak over 35 different languages, including Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, French, German, Hebrew and many others. In addition, Maven offers simultaneous translation similar to what you might experience in a hospital or clinic if you didn’t speak the same language as the Specialist. Your Maven Care Advocate can help you navigate to the best specialists to fit your needs.
