How much does Maven cost, and how does it work with my health insurance?
All global Microsoft employees, their partners, and U.S. employees and partners enrolled in a Microsoft-sponsored health plan are provided free membership in Maven. You can access doctors, specialists and coaches for support through preconception, pregnancy and postpartum; IVF, IUI and egg freezing; adoption; breast milk shipping; returning to work after parental leave; parenting & pediatrics; and menopause all at no cost. And should you require in-person care, Maven can connect you to high-performing providers in your area.
What types of specialists can I connect with through Maven?
You can video chat and message with fertility, pregnancy and postpartum specialists, mental health providers, OB-GYNs, nurse practitioners, midwives, doulas, prenatal nutritionists, adoption coaches, fertility awareness educators, physical therapists, developmental psychologists, pediatricians, lactation consultants, sleep coaches, menopause specialists, sex coaches, parenting experts, and career coaches (and more!) anytime.
What if I already have an in-person OB-GYN or midwife, or have already selected a fertility clinic?
You can continue to see your in-person providers but video chat with Maven providers for guidance and second opinions. Our providers include a range of specialists you might not have access to—from midwives and doulas to diabetes coaches and career coaches, along with mental health providers with deep experience in trying-to-conceive, fertility, and new parent journeys.
How does Maven support partners?
Partners can sign up with their own account and benefit from the same specialist appointments, articles, videos and virtual classes. Those enrolled in Pregnancy or Fertility programs also receive content that’s specific to the partner experience.
Does Maven offer support in languages other than English?
The Maven app and website are available in English, Spanish, French, and Canadian French. Providers on Maven speak more than 35 different languages, including Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, French, German, Japanese, and Hebrew. Maven offers an additional 170 languages available through a real-time translator service similar to what you might experience in a hospital or clinic if you didn’t speak the same language as the providers. Is Maven available to members outside of the United States?
Yes, Maven is available to members globally. We currently support members in over 100 countries around the world. Members outside of the United States have access to the same 24/7 access to providers and Care Advocates who can help members understand the benefits offered by Microsoft, navigate the local healthcare system, and find in person providers.
